Why join?
Our World is complex - we adapt and learn every day. Also the way we organize work is changing faster than our org-charts. This evening is for all curious minds, who want to know more about: Why System-Changes are much more effective and sustainable than commanding and controlling people!
We offer a lively exchange with practical stories, questions, answers in plenum and small group-discussions... plus a beer-tasting in the end!
Wow - all in one event! And you are invited!
When?
Thursday 18 September, doors open at 17:00h
Meetup starts at 17:30h, Open Space from 18:00h, mingeling and beer tasting (for those who want) ~19:30h
(Leave whenever you need—this is a flexible, open evening in an OpenSpace-mindset.)
Where?
Kronprinsesse Märthas Kirke, Stigbergsgatan 24, Stockholm (Public transportation: Bus 2, 3, 53 or 55 to Tjärhovsplan and then 70 steps up the wooden stairs)
Who is this for?
- Modern leaders, change agents, product and tech leaders, agile/lean practitioners
- Public sector innovators and policy shapers
- Anyone moving from control to conditions for flow, learning, and those who lead by inviting and trust-based leadership
What to expect? Our rough agenda:
- 17:00 – Doors open/arrive/mingle: Some snacks & sweets, coffee, tea, soft drinks.
- 17:30 – Kick off into the topic (Alexander and Halldor): A short, maybe provocative intro with two "impulses" (real stories of environmental or system-level change) followed by an explanation of Open Space Structure for the following discussions.
- 18:00 – Kick off Open Space by setting up the agenda together:
You bring your questions, stories, blockers and experiments you would like to share or ask for. We’ll then run short session rounds with more than one topic at a time - you take decisions where to participate, follow your interest and experience more than one discussion.
- ~19:30 – Beer-Tasting with Pica Pico Brewery:
A flavorful pause to compare notes - on hops and on how we change systems. Attention: Beer-Tasting will cost you 75,- SEK per person, please pay via Swish or Cash at the beginning of the Beer-Tasting!
- Closure – Keep mingling, swap contacts, and make things happen!
What is OpenSpace?
A simple, self-organizing format where participants create the agenda together. You join the conversations where you can learn or contribute the most. Move freely - even while the discussions are ongoing.
This will be explained at the venue as well.
House rules!
- Be respectful. Be curious. Share generously.
- Come and go as you need - you’re in charge of your time.
- Chatham House Rule suggested: learnings leave the room, attributions don’t.
