Agile organizations are characterized by the fact that they distribute authority and allow decisions to be made where experts and information are located.
This is also described in between the lines of principle 5 of the manifesto for agile software development: "Build projects around motivated individuals. Give them the environment and support they need, and trust them to get the job done."
Let us differentiate and understand clearly how command & control organizations create teams by management decisions and how team-creation is done in modern work-places.
