About the Presenter:

Derek Thomas is Principal at Thomas Economic Policy and Data Consulting. His consulting firm analyzes, interprets and presents findings from large data sets for a diverse set of clients, including economists, attorneys, private firms, and nonprofit organizations. Prior, Derek worked for a decade as a senior policy analyst for nonprofit think tanks. In these roles, Mr. Thomas produced data-based research and analysis, built data visualizations, and communicated findings to media and policymakers to build support for policy change.
