What is the purpose of New York City Landlords?
To educate and assist seasoned, new, potential and wannabe landlords with the process of renting out their properties. We will cover topics such as evaluating tenants financially, maintenance requirements, how to market your rental property, how security deposits are meant to work, turnover, how to foster good relationships with tenants, how to inspect a property after tenants have vacated, how to identify safety hazards that could impact your tenants, the benefits of land-lording, how to price your property, improvements that may make your property rent at a higher rent, and concerns when you are seeking to sell your rental property.
Who should join New York City Landlords?
Anyone who is or wants to be a landlord in New York City. Anyone who wants to learn or improve how they rent out or manage property.
What will we do at New York City Landlord School events?
We will present on various topics that will be of interest to landlords and potential landlords. We will always leave time take questions from the attendees.
