About us
Hey there! Welcome to the Meetup Page of Middle Sibling Productions! Come join us for play-reading and discussion sessions in Manhattan and beyond. We read a different play each week, and we'll provide a digital link to the script so you don’t have to supply your own copy. The play selected may change depending on the number of attendees, so we recommend bringing a digital device in order to access the new material.
No acting or theatre experience required—we're just here to have a good time! If you don't want to read, that's totally fine—we always appreciate new faces and an audience.
While our group primarily focuses on contemporary works, we encourage our community to read plays from all time periods. To this end, we have partnered with another great Meetup organization, the New York Shakespeare Reading Group. In a format similar to our weekly meetings, this group gets together to read and discuss Shakespeare and other classical playwrights. You can sign up for their events here.
MSP is committed to ensuring that participation at all levels is safe and enjoyable for everyone. By signing up for any of our events you agree to abide by our code of conduct (see here).
Want to donate to help us continue presenting great works in Manhattan and beyond? Good news! We are fiscally sponsored, so every donation to our group is fully tax deductible and directly benefits MSP. The link to our donation page can be found here.
We hope you’ll join us and have a great time! Feel free to bring friends. Be sure to follow us on social media (@middlesiblingproductions) for updates and related events. More details about Middle Sibling Productions can be found on our website middlesiblingproductions.com.
