Welcome to the New York City Rucking Club!

This group’s focus is rucking — walking or hiking with a weighted backpack to build strength, endurance, and mental fortitude. It’s a simple but highly effective form of fitness training that combines the benefits of cardio and resistance work in one.
Whether you’re an experienced rucker or new to the activity and looking to add it to your fitness routine, you’re welcome to join — provided you can sustain a brisk 3–4 mph pace over uneven terrain with moderate elevation changes for at least 2-3 miles.

Events are totally free, led by an experienced trainer and rucker, and focused on safe, science-based conditioning. Times are to be determined but will likely be early weekday mornings.
