Join us on Governors Island for a morning Coffee & Kadima playdate.
Stick around for group lunch & possibly an afternoon margarita!
Then maybe explore Governor's Island on your own, with a new friend, or head back by ferry...

WHEN & WHERE
- Sunday June 29 - On Governors Island
TIMING:
11am - 12:30pm > Kadima - near Makina Cafe - grab your morning coffee!
- Clayton Road / Colonel's Row, near the Blazing Saddles bicycle rental
- In front of Liggett Hall
1pm > Group lunch at Taco Vista

- New location: 145 Carder Road (close to their old location - now in the space that Gitano had)
- (if coming from the NYC ferry for lunch, make a left off the boat)
- Located close to Manhattan ferry drop off point as Soissons Landing and a short walk from the Brooklyn Ferry drop off.
Come alone or come with a friend!
- We will introduce all members to Kadima, demonstrate the game and partner you up to play with another - And we’ll rotate!
WHAT DO I NEED?
- For this Kadima excursion - please plan to bring your own paddles & balls if you can. We will have a few extra paddles... let me know if you need one
- Bring your own blanket if you choose.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
By Ferry
- Take ferry from the Battery Maritime Building, located at 10 South Street in Lower Manhattan
- (1 train goes to to South Ferry station)
From NYC - Join us on the 10:30am ferry - the last free ferry of the day.
- (Or take a later ferry with a purchased ticket and meet us on the island)
We will meet at 10:15am to catch the 10:30am ferry.
- I will have a sign.
- There will be a long line for the ferry that moves quickly

FERRY TICKETS from NYC to Governors Island
- While the 10:30am ferry is free, having the 'ticket' for the 10:30 will give you the reservation to get on the boat.
- (Often they do not check for tickets on these early morning boats)
- Choose the General Admission ticket for the 10:30am boat and as you proceed it will show up as $0.
- Each ticket is for round trip; you will not receive a separate return ticket - and will not need to show a return ticket
