We will meet under the golden statue at Grand Army Plaza (southeast corner of the park) where we will learn about the park’s history and some surrounding buildings before beginning our walk.
This tour goes from Grand Army Plaza (5th Ave Station for N, W, and R lines) to the Dakota on the western side of the park at 72nd St. Attractions we will walk by and learn about include but are not limited to:
The Pond
Wollman Rink
The Mall
Bethesda Terrace & Fountain
The Lake
Loeb Boathouse
Cherry Hill & Fountain
Strawberry Fields
The Dakota

Due to the ever changing dynamics of the pandemic, we will follow the NYC recommended policies for groups meeting outside at the time of the tour.
Dress for the weather and plan on being outside for approximately two hours. This tour will finish conveniently near the 72nd St. station for the C and B lines.
