The ICS Advisory Project (ICSAP) launched in 2022 as a free vulnerability intelligence resource for the OT/ICS security community.
Four years and 12,000+ curated advisories later, founder Dan Ricci is building a commercial Docker product alongside the free community offering. Drawing on 30
years of cybersecurity experience spanning Navy cyber operations, defense industry product security, and DOE-funded national lab research, Dan shares the engineering and product decisions behind that evolution - how AI-augmented development is reshaping the weekly editorial workflow, what asset owners actually need from an on-premises OT vuln intel platform, and how he's keeping the free community resource healthy alongside a sustainable commercial offering.
