Across six distinct vintages, you will experience firsthand how "the iron fist in the velvet glove" softens into pure elegance. This is a rare opportunity to taste the soul of the Médoc across its most iconic years.

• 2022 | The Reigning Champion: Experience the "pitch-perfect" #1 Wine of the Year. A historic release noted for its incredible aromatic purity and power.
• 2019 | The Modern Icon: A high-energy, precision-focused vintage that represents the new pinnacle of the estate's craft.
• 2015 | The Margaux Benchmark: Seductive and floral; a standout from a year where Margaux was the undisputed star of Bordeaux.
• 2011 | The Savory Classicist: Showcase of terroir, offering signature notes of graphite and cedar at 15 years of maturity.
• 1998 | The Silky Mature: A 28-year-old masterclass in sophistication, now showing beautiful notes of tobacco and dried plum.
• 1989 | The Grand Finale: A 37-year-old treasure from a legendary harvest. Expect a haunting, tertiary profile of truffle and forest floor.

Disclaimer: Please note that these wines are mature. Wine is a living organism and there is a higher risk of disappointment here. If your preference is for younger wines, please skip this one. But for those who appreciate the patience required to age these and the resulting development, you are in for a treat.
A Note on Fill Levels: In the interest of full transparency for our members, please note that the 1989 shows a very high shoulder fill and the 1998 shows a top shoulder fill. These levels are considered excellent and normal for well-stored bottles of this age, indicating healthy cork integrity and slow, natural evolution.

** The cost of this event is $98 and is for the cost of the wines only!
NOTE: Meetup has started charging a "Partner Fee" that is above and in addition to the listed price of the event. It is annoying and confusing, but there is nothing I can do about it. It comes to approximately $7 more for each RSVP. You will see this charge when you complete your RSVP and pay for the event. Sorry! Meetup+ members are exempt from this charge.
You will also have to pay the cost of your food (plus 33% for tax and tip). Please order at least two courses (i.e. a main dish and either appetizer or dessert) for your dinner. There are very few restaurants that allow us to bring our own wine for a Zero corkage fee. We must be good guests to encourage the restaurant to continue to be generous to us.
Please read and understand the group's cancellation policy. If you take spot, then cancel, and no one else takes the spot, you will not receive a refund or credit. No refunds or credits will be given for no-shows or late cancellations (unless someone else takes your spot).
All cancellations are subject to a $8 service fee.
