The Wine List - Notes will be provided at dinner:

2021 Clos Mogador Priorat Nelin ($54) - CT 91, WA 96 points, "Marking the 20th anniversary of this white wine, the 2021 Nelin was produced with Garnacha Blanca, Macabeo, Xarel.lo and Picapoll white and Cariñena Blanca. Produced with the juice from the direct pressing, the wine spent one year in oak and six months in tank. It's balsamic, eminently Mediterranean and ripe, with 14% alcohol (a little lower through the change of varieties) and notes of hay and straw, aromatic herbs and waxy apples. It has volume and density but with the freshness from a cooler year. It's approachable but should develop a lot more complexity with time in bottle. (drink 2024-2034)"

2019 Domaine Cabirau Maury Sec Serge & Marie ($15) - Always a hit, this bargain priced red scored 92 points from the WA, "The 2019 Maury Sec Serge & Marie is 70% Grenache, 20% Carignan, and 10% Syrah and is aged in 50% foudre and 50% used barrique between two and ten years old. It's a more serious wine offering ripe kirsch, blackberry, peppery herbs, and obvious minerality in a medium to full-bodied, ripe, silky, textured package. Drink bottles over the coming 4-6 years. (Drink between 2023-2029)"

2017 Clos Mogador Priorat Gratallops ($70) - No reviews that I could find, but we had this a little over a year ago and LOVED it! A blend of 49% (according to the producer's web site) Garnaxas (Grenache) doesn't overpower the other grapes.

2018 The Farm Winery Pura Vida ($70) - One of my fraternity brothers owns this winery. JD 92+ points, "Black fruits, sappy herbs, violets, and graphite all emerge from the 2018 Pura Vida, an inky hued blend based on 60% Petit Verdot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. With terrific purity of fruit, some gamey, iron, nuances, medium to full body, and beautiful tannins, give bottles 2-3 years, and it should keep for 15+ years, if not longer. (Drink between 2024-2040)"
