Forest Hike Series: Two Trails, One River, Shaded Woodlands / 9 Mile

Join us for a peaceful, tranquil summer hike through two beautiful forested parks. This hike totals approximately 9 miles and 1,100 feet of elevation gain, spread across two moderate loops. We’ll start at Hacklebarney State Park, a shaded hike along creeks and waterfalls, then enjoy lunch and head to the Black River County Park, just 10 minutes away, for a deeper journey through quiet woodland paths and riverside views. Please expect cool shade, good conversation, and beautiful scenery all day long.
