North Woods is Central Park's most secluded and beautiful forested area. We are heading to the northern part of the park to enjoy a true "forest bathing" experience away from the bustling crowds of the south. This area boasts the park's most concentrated autumn foliage and genuine woodland trails. We will navigate the winding paths of the North Woods, discovering hidden gems like the Blockhouse (an old fort structure) and looking for the first brilliant pops of color as the maples and oaks begin to turn.
