Seven Hills Trail (end to end), Harriman State Park
Details
Join us on this fun and challenging hike at the Harriman State Park! Approximately 6.5 miles, 1700 ft. elevation gain, the Seven Hills Trail is known for great views, frequent ups and downs, rocky footing, and several open ledges and steep scrambles. This hike is harder than the raw mileage suggests.
This is a point to point hike, so we will meet at the Sebago Lake parking lot and shuttle with 1/2 cars to Reeves Meadow (3 min) to start the hike.
The best-known views associated with Seven Hills-area hikes are Ramapo Torne, with broad views and, on clear days, even the NYC skyline, Russian Bear and Torne View / Big Cat Torne as standout overlooks in this zone.
Bring hiking boots, bug spray, poles, water, lunch, and a sense of adventure. Rain, thunderstorms, wildfires, etc. cancel the hike. Day of hike phone: 917-445-0523
