Join us for a breathtaking cherry blossom in the iconic landscapes of Central Park! This 6-mile hike is designed to hit every major cherry blossom cluster. From the snow-white Yoshino trees to the deep pink Kwanzan blooms, we’ll experience the park at its absolute peak.
Highlights:
- Pilgrim Hill: Starting at the southeast entrance, we’ll dive straight into the park’s densest canopy of Yoshino trees.
- Cherry Hill: Passing the Bethesda Terrace, we’ll capture the classic views of "pink clouds" overlooking The Lake.
- The Reservoir (The Main Event): We’ll walk the 1.58-mile loop around the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, home to the famous "cherry blossom tunnel" on the west side.
- Great Hill & North Meadow: Venturing further north to discover the quieter, hidden cherry groves.
- Conservatory Garden: Our northern turnaround point (105th St), featuring manicured, European-style spring gardens.
