Self-evaluation is crucial to mental and social well-being.
Healthy self-esteem can lead to better health and social behavior, and poor self-esteem is associated with a broad range of mental disorders and social problems, both internalizing problems (e.g., depression, suicidal tendencies, eating disorders, and anxiety) and externalizing problems (e.g., violence and substance abuse). However, this can seem to be a pre-defined part of one's personality; in reality, Self-esteem is a mental muscle.
Same as you train and develop your muscles in the gym, you can train your self-esteem through habits that get your mind and inner critique under control.
Hypnotherapy is a highly successful tool in building healthy self-esteem, and so is self-hypnosis.
Remember - you are worthy, and you matter. See you there.
