Details

The next NYC Kotlin Meetup will be happening on Wednesday November 20th 2019 at Plated - 111 W 19th Street - 3rd Floor.

Talks:

Clikt - Brian Plummer

Let's check out Clikt, the "Command Line Interface for Kotlin". It is a popular open source library that provides command line tooling for Kotlin! It has a rich feature set that I will explain and go over in this talk.

Release Note Generation Using SpringBoot, Coroutines, and Commons-Email - Kyle Jablonski

Digging through commit messages to create release notes can be a pain, wouldn't it be nice if you could automate it? Server side Kotlin with Springboot and Kotlin coroutines to the rescue! In this talk Kyle will teach you how to build a RESTful webservice using server side Kotlin to build an API that can be added into your CI flow to generate release notes in your CI builds.

Location: Thank you to Plated for hosting and providing food and drinks. When you arrive someone will be at the entrance checking ids and directing you where to go.
