SPEAKER BIOs
Bailey Hayes is the Chief Technology Officer at Cosmonic
She is the WebAssembly System Interface (WASI) Subgroup co-chair, and Technical Steering Committee director of the Bytecode Alliance. She believes the future is in distributed systems and WebAssembly (Wasm). Her daily activities include wrangling microservices, finding new tools for better developer experience, and discovering the best food for any given location.
Chris Matteson is the Head of Solutions Sales at Fermyon.
His background includes stints as a sysadmin, sales engineer, and consultant. He was an early employee of HashiCorp where he built Partner Solutions Engineering, and then subsequently joined Prisma to build Sales and Solutions Engineering for the rapidly growing ORM. Now at Fermyon he advocates for the next wave of cloud compute by helping users and partners find success with WebAssembly.
Oscar Spencer is a Principal Software Engineer at F5 NGINX
He is the co-creator of Grain, a functional programming language for WebAssembly. He previously led the engineering team at Suborbital, building products leveraging server-side WebAssembly as a key technology.
