About this OpportunityVolunteer Roles & Shifts Set-Up Crew (10:30 AM–12:30 PM) Unload toys, sort by age/category, decorate “Winter Wonderland,” set up gift-wrapping. Check-In & Greeters (12:30–4:15 PM) Welcome guests, manage registration, distribute shopping cards, guide flow. Shopper Assistants (12:45–4:15 PM) Walk alongside each parent as a personal host; help choose age-appropriate toys with dignity and joy. Toy Runners & Inventory (12:45–4:15 PM) Keep tables stocked, track quantities, communicate gaps. Gift Wrapping Team (1:00–4:30 PM) Wrap and tag gifts; create a festive, encouraging experience. Hospitality & Food Service (12:30–4:30 PM) Set and monitor refreshments, bussing, and general room care. Children’s Corner (12:45–4:15 PM) Simple crafts, story time, and supervised play (cleared volunteers only). Floater / Facilities (12:30–4:30 PM) Fill gaps, trash runs, restroom checks, snow-shovel (kidding… hopefully!). Clean-Up Crew (4:00–5:00 PM) Break down, pack remaining toys, reset rooms. Ideal team: ~30 volunteers across roles (more welcome). Teens can serve with an adult. Volunteer Requirements Age: 14+ (under 18 with guardian permission; Children’s Corner requires 16+) Screening: Children’s Corner & direct childcare require background check / ministry clearance Dress: Festive, comfortable, closed-toe shoes (holiday sweaters encouraged!)
