The Fearless Litigator: Navigating Media Attention on High-Profile Cases Brought to you by the Law&Crime Network and the ABA

The Law&Crime Network will host a media training panel featuring an introduction by Dan Abrams and lessons from legal experts with experience litigating and commenting on cases which capture the public's attention. The program will teach lawyers how to effectively navigate high-profile cases as litigators and commentators. Seasoned panelists will present tools and tactics from cases they've litigated or covered.

Attendees will learn how to avoid common pitfalls and how to wisely present cases through mass media. Attendees will also grapple with a myriad of state ethics rules which make some out-of-court comments acceptable in some states but subject to discipline in others. This training will be a valuable starting point for attorneys seeking to broaden their practices to include commentary as experts or as litigators unafraid to tackle the cases which are sure to attract considerable public attention.
