World-renowned vocalist, Elin, of Peruvian and Irish heritage, originally hails from Sweden, where she was born and raised. After becoming enamored with Brazilian music, she embarked on a life-long journey to perform Brazilian jazz around the world.
Brazilian Jazz Night in Harlem will be celebrating the music of Flora Purim and Chick Corea, from their album "Light As a Feather" (1972), which was recorded by Return to Forever. Elin will also be singing Bossa Nova in six languages!
