New York Machine Learning Meetup (NYC Traffic Data Presentation)

Details
New York City provides lots of interesting data for free on their website OpenNYC. Gabriel used their Automated Traffic Counts dataset to make an animated map of Manhattan from 59th street to below, to study the city’s canceled plans from earlier this year for a congestion pricing zone.
In his presentation, Gabriel will share the interesting details about how he organized and combined this dataset with a GeoJson map dataset to turn data from 2016-2019 into an hour and a half of traffic animations. For more on what Gabriel will share, including imputation of data and branch prediction, check out the project’s blog:
***Please note this event is on WEDNESDAY, not Thursday, because of the NFL schedule.***
This will again be hosted at Alphabet City Beer Co.:
96 Ave C (between 6th and 7th Streets), New York, NY 10009
Don't be shy, bring your friends!
Best,
Charles
