Designed to support both actors and non-actors, the class uses Meisner's repetition exercise in a way that is an adaptation/expansion of the original exercise.

Students will work two at a time ("pinning" each other on zoom) as other students observe and as I side-coach. Students get to work multiple times per class. The idea is to give students as much experience as possible within the 1 1/2 hours of class-time.

Another way of describing this type of repetition is "Permission to be honest" or "Permission to be real." I do my best to create a space that supports you in your authenticity, whatever form it may take. The class is for the courageous - it is designed for participants to risk the unknown as that is where they will discover more of themselves. In addition, becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable is necessary to embrace the out-of-control experience that is acting at its most engaging.

Before you come, there is a short, required 15 minute Facetime/Zoom interview to make sure you, the class, and I are a good fit.
