MongoDB and Ruby Workshop

Aidan Feldman will host a workshop on using MongoDB with Ruby. Aidan will go over Ruby 1.9/2.0 and MongoDB 2.2/2.4

You should already have some familiarity with Ruby before coming attending this session.

We will cover

MongoDB (http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/installation/) The MongoDB Ruby Driver Mongoid (MongoDB and Ruby ODM) At the end of this session you should feel more confident modeling your application with MongoDB in Ruby.

A laptop Have MongoDB installed: we recommend the most recent production release of MongoDB (2.2 OR 2.4) (http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/installation/) Have Ruby ruby 1.9.2/1.9.3/2.0 installed (If you need help installing, we recommend this overview of Rails and Ruby 1.9.3 (http://railsapps.github.com/installing-rails.html))
