Welcoming you aboard for AMA's Morning Yoga. I have been a certified teacher since 2005, and have continued as an ongoing student as well as practitioner. I have also served as a certified personal trainer & group fitness trainer, since the 90s, Studied massage, bodywork, and remain a student of Qigong. I came to the practice of Hatha Yoga during my bout with Rheumatoid Arthritis, back in 2001. I call myself a RA survivor.
My background has been in the performing arts. i was too a physical longtime and theatrical unions affiliate performance artist, i.e. dance, acrobatics, stuntman, martial artist.
I have had a long working history with places such as Omega Institute for Holistic Heath, YMCA of Greater New York, as consultant and as employee.
I currently work privately, with a small clientele, few I have served with for many years.
These morning classes are kind, basic and unhurried. Please think of each postures introduced as a means of meditation, where you'll be reminded to revere the breath, and through the nostrils. Class ends with relaxation pose on your back.
