This "DISCUSSION-based presentation" explores the mechanics of transforming a band into a sustainable career. He will discuss how to construct a professional vision and set the standards for your band culture from branding to operation. He will then cover the tactical side of band formation, including how to staff your team and identify your financial requirements. Finally, he will look at the execution and maintenance phases, focusing on schedule development and talent management to ensure long-term career growth.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:
Thomas Van Dyke is a smooth free styling multi-talented musician/performing artist with deep roots in the Blues, Soul, R&B, Smooth Jazz and Christian/Gospel musical genres. As a longtime member of MIC, he has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the MIC program and community. Thomas is an affiliated BMI songwriter and the owner of Another Approach Music, a record label, recording studio, and BMI affiliated publishing company. Thomas also brings extensive experience as an authorized booking agent for various professional entertainment/event booking agencies and companies, including the global talent booking agency & management company Celebrity Direct Entertainment.
