What we’re about

We're a group of psychoanalysis lovers relatively early on our psychoanalytic paths: we have junior psychoanalytic candidates from a range of institutes, current academic students and junior therapists considering analytic training, folks with deep interest in psychoanalysis who aren't (yet?) training in therapy or analysis.

We share and discuss book and paper references, analytic events in the city, pathways to training and their pitfalls, issues happenings and rumours in the world of analysis, and everything else psychoanalysis related or adjacent.

As it's almost the season for institute open houses and applications for training, the prospective applicants are encouraged to drop by to tap into our years in the making trove of wisdom on anything training related.

Some newer to analysis might come by to discover it actually is a thing practiced by real people who aren't entirely insane (fingers crossed at this point we're half-decent at faking that impression).

I'm hoping to see many of the old-timers as it's been a while since our last meeting and I miss all the spicy rumors y'all bring.
