Join us for our Quarterly Meeting!

Quarterly meetings feature a longer program in the afternoon at an offsite location. We'll start with networking time with drinks and appetizers before our main program on using Openshift with F5.

Presenters:
Alfredo Quiroga - Red Hat
Paul Pindell - F5
Tom McGonagle - F5

Imagine the ability to seamlessly present multiple OpenShift environments hosting a geographically and/or platform distributed application that can survive a BC/DR event, scale into a public Cloud as needed, and where you can host critical functions securely on premises, but still take advantage of Public cloud economics. Six months ago Red Hat and F5 did just that. We imagined what we initially called the Mother of All Demos. In this demo, we will showcase a single application running across on-prem and Azure hosted OpenShift environments. We will utilize Ansible Tower for the zero-day deployment of the F5 networking pieces into these environments. F5 BIG-IP will be deployed with our open sourced Container Connector into both environments to provide intelligent DNS, North-South Ingress routing, and using F5’s incubation project, Aspen Mesh, a supported, enterprise-grade Istio distribution will be deployed to secure East-West application traffic.
