Ansible ships with modules to automate a gajillion things already. But sometimes, you need to solve a problem and there isn’t an existing module for your use case. Or maybe there is one, but it doesn’t support the options or parameters you need. Join Marc Richter and Brian Jarvis as they walk you through An Interesting Problem Around Cgroups that Ansible didn’t offer a built-in solution for and how they solved it, first using roles and then creating a custom module.

Bio: Marc Richter is a Principal Technical Account Manager focusing on Platform and related tech, such as performance, management and automation. Brian Jarvis is a Technical Account Manager focusing on Openshift and is a MUCH better coder than Marc.
