Online Journal Club: How to train your bacteriophage

Details

Hello all,

My friend and I have been running this Journal Club as a livestream for a year now (you can also see our previously recorded ones). We both were in PhD programs for infectious disease microbiology and we think more people should read the scientific literature. It can be hard to read papers alone, so we're doing it together!

This week we're covering:
Coevolutionary phage training leads to greater bacterial suppression and delays the evolution of phage resistance
https://doi.org/10.1073/pnas.2104592118

The open access version on bioRxiv is here:
https://doi.org/10.1101/2020.11.02.365361

Our general format is to do a short into to the context of the paper then talk about each figure 1 by 1 in the order they appear in the text. You can ask questions in the chat or by using the #microtwjc on Twitter
