This installment in A_Century_of_Fiction_in_The_New_Yorker will focus on Saul Bellow's 1955 story "A Father-to-Be" and Bernard Malamud's 1956 work "A Summer's Reading." It should be a good one! These two stories can be found in the book from pages 140-158.

PS. Irony's in that the story for this week is about parents-to-be, as this meeting falls on my baby's due date. So we will most definitely need someone to step up as an interim host!
