Online karaoke: Funk!

Tonight we'll be singing funk songs! The primary characteristics of funk are a strong bass line and syncopated rhythm guitar. The genre was developed by artists like James Brown and George Clinton in the 1960s and 1970s, and has been continued and expanded by artists like Prince, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Mark Ronson. Funk was a big contribution to disco, and many hip-hop songs have sampled funk songs.

Some artists play funk almost exclusively, others have one or two funk songs. Any funk song is welcome!
