The first meet and greet for this theremin meetup will be at Spaceworks in the Williamsburg Library, Studio B. Monday night, after 6pm, the library is closed, so amplification is allowed! We will see how this venue works, and go from there.
Please bring anything you may need, other than electricity. They have a couple of amps only. I would suggest theremin and stand, and a portable amp.
We will meet each other, and work to play a couple of tunes together, and play along with a recorded bit of music. It will give us a chance to discuss any ideas and formats for future meetups as well.
A few dollars to cover the cost of the space would be helpful. It was not very expensive, so $5 donation is appreciated from those who attend. I was able to reserve for 2 hours on this day (during non-library hours.)
