Spanish Language Conversation New York (NYC) is part of Se Habla, a worldwide community made up of 9 Meetup groups from 9 different cities across 6 countries. Join us and don't miss the opportunity to speak with native speakers.

We meet on the following days:

• Monday 8 pm
• Wednesday 8 pm
• Friday 8 pm
• Sunday 11 am

The average attendance per meeting is 40 participants.

Format
Depending on attendance and nationality, small groups are formed with 4-6 people:

• 2 native English speakers
• 2 native Spanish speakers
• 1 native speaker of another language

The meetings last for 2 hours and are divided into 4 periods:

• 30 minutes speaking in English
• 30 minutes speaking in Spanish
• 30 minutes speaking in English
• 30 minutes speaking in Spanish

Please note that we speak half of the time in English and half in Spanish. We help each other learn both languages.

After two hours, everyone returns to the main room to meet all participants and take a group screenshot. If you have time, you’re welcome to stay and continue the conversation for as long as you like.

Community
We have 9 MeetUp groups meeting at the same time (Mexico City, Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, New York, London, Los Angeles, Medellin, and Santiago de Chile). However, during the exchange, you will meet people not only from these cities but also from all over the world.
