Barn Volunteer - Every Thursday

Barn volunteer at GallopNYC therapeutic riding center

Level 1 volunteer duties:

Work with barn hands to maintain the barn and horses.
Specific duties include filling water buckets, cleaning feed pans, sweeping and filling hay bags helping with lesson support if needed
--Please dress for the weather and especially in warmer months bring a water bottle and snacks--

As per the city’s executive order for city funded programs every person that is working or volunteering at ALL GallopNYC locations (GallopNYC Lindenwood (Sunrise Stables), GallopNYC Forest Hills, Prospect Park-Bowling Green and the Bronx Equestrian Center) must be vaccinated.

Site Managers will ask for proof of vaccination (photo of vaccination card or physical vaccination card, Excelsior Pass app or NYC COVID safe app).

Masks will be worn at all times, unless alone in a stall doing physical work.
