New Year, Self-Guided Downtown Walk, and Late Lunch

Walk the New Haven Green and Yale Campus with an optional late lunch stop afterward. We can self tour a few landmarks in Downtown New Haven and then check out the event going on at the Green, weather permitting. Then stop for cheap eats somewhere nearby, there are many good restaurants that are reasonably priced. There is free parking downtown at the meters, as this is a major holiday. I will figure out and post a meeting location soon. Here are the only details I have on what is going on at the New Haven Green:
New Year New Haven is presented by The Committee of the Proprietors of the New Haven Green. New Year New Haven 2026 will take place on January 1st, starting at 2:00 PM. This is a family-friendly celebration that will feature live music, carnival rides, a puppet show, a magician, arts and crafts, and so much more. We invite everyone to come out and join us as we celebrate the New Year together on the Green
