Weekly Adult Grief Support Group + Virtual Meetings Every Thursday

This Thursday we will have both in-person meetings at the church and our every week virtual meeting. We look forward to seeing our old members and welcoming new members. The church is requiring that masks be worn whether you are vaccinated or not, so please be sure to bring your masks.

For our virtual meeting friends:

There will now be a virtual meeting every week. We will host a joint virtual meeting of all groups every week. If you are more comfortable staying virtual or are not able to come to the in-person meetings please join us using the information below. The virtual meeting will begin at 6:45 PM.

** Please remember the ground rules ** We know everyone is anxious to see and hear everyone, but please remember to mute yourself if you are not actually speaking. If you are calling in to the meeting please use the "mute" button on your phone. Please refrain from interjecting comments while someone is speaking, like “Gee”, “Wow”, "Oh My”. They do not help and they take up valuable time. If there is background noise or distraction we WILL mute you. Please be considerate.

The Meetup attendee count does not include the 20 to 30 people that regularly attend our meetings. Please stop by; there will always be support here.

If you are newly alone and trying to cope - by yourself - with the emotions of loss or grief, then New Beginnings Wellesley Hills could be for you. You will be with people who are, or have been, in the same boat as you. You may be having feelings such as anger, denial, shock, depression, loneliness, rejection, or abandonment these all are normal for where you are. You will be able to share how you feel in a safe place, and get support and comfort from others who have been there.

Our weekly meetings combine group membership activities with small group discussions led by trained facilitators. There is no fee to attend.
