East Garston to Lambourn – circular walk

This walk starts and finishes In East Garston
This is a lovely, countryside walk across part of the Lambourn Downs. Expects some inclines.
On our return, we may wish to take refreshments at Priscilla's Kitchen, in East Garston next to the Village Hall, where there are nice savoury and sweet items for sale.
Meeting place: Meet in the car park of East Garston Village Hall.

There is a place for bicycles nearby.
Start time: 11 am
Distance: approximately 6 miles.
Time walking: approximately 2.5 hours.
Lunch: Please bring a packed lunch and we will find a suitable place to eat half way round and ideally bring something to sit on. Alternatively, we can save our packed lunches and eat at Priscilla’s café at the end of the walk.
Conditions: Expect some uphills on the downs.
Please wear comfortable clothes and footwear suitable for the weather and outdoor terrain.
Risk: We walk at our own risk. Please always carry written contact details of who to contact in case of emergency.
Refreshments reminder: On any walk, it is always advisable to bring water to drink and a snack just in case.
Dogs: Welcome on lead.
