East Garston - Lambourn, circular walk

This walk is set in the Lambourn Downs and has slightly challenging inclines. It starts and finishes in the very attractive village of East Garston. The return to Priscilla’s café at the end of the walk makes a happy ending.

Meeting place: Meet in the car park/forecourt of East Garston Village Hall:
East Garston Social Club and Village Hall
Back Street
East Garston
Berkshire
RG17 7EX.

Bicycles: There is a place for bicycles in one corner of the forecourt.

Start time: 10:00 am

Distance: approximately 7 miles.

Time walking: approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

Conditions: A bit challenging : hills and overgrown in places.
Please wear comfortable clothes and stout footwear suitable for the weather and outdoor terrain.

Refreshments: It’s always advisable to bring along snacks and water to drink on any walk.
The plan is to stop at Priscilla’s at the end of the walk to eat and drink. However, you may prefer to have you own packed lunch (outside).

Risk: We walk at our own risk. Please always carry written contact details of who to contact in case of emergency.

Dogs: Welcome on lead.
