Tales from the Shadows: A Night of Frightful Stories
Details
Not all stories are meant to comfort. Some linger in the dark corners of memory, sending a shiver down the spine. Tonight, we gather to share those stories — the eerie, the unexplained, the unsettling.
Our theme for the evening: "A Moment That Chilled Me to the Bone".
Did you ever feel like someone was watching you when no one was there? Have you heard a voice when you were alone? Maybe you had an encounter with a stranger that didn’t sit right, or something happened that logic just can’t explain. Whether it was a brush with danger, a bizarre coincidence, or a moment that made your heart race — bring a true story that still gives you chills.
Most of our guests usually share real stories that happened to them, but if you prefer, you can always tell someone else’s story that left a strong impression on you.
The Evening’s Flow:
📍 5:00 PM – We gather, we meet, we connect. Conversations spark, introductions unfold.
📍 5:40 PM – The storytelling begins. One by one, we take the stage (or simply our seat), offering our tales to the room. After each story, we pause—discuss, reflect, and let curiosity guide the dialogue.
📍 After the stories – The night lingers, and so do we. Drinks, chatter, and the company of fellow storytellers.
The Rules Are Simple:
✨ Come prepared with a story that fits the evening’s theme.
✨ Keep it concise: one story should be no longer than 10 minutes (ideally 5-7 minutes), so everyone gets a turn.
✨ Tell it in a way that grips and enchants—be vivid, be bold, be true to your voice.
✨ No interruptions—let the storyteller weave their tale. After they finish, feel free to ask questions about what was left unsaid.
✨ Engage with fellow storytellers; our stories thrive in the echoes of discussion.
✨ Above all, respect the moment, the teller, and the tale.
