Title: Speeding up your Shiny App
You've built a Shiny app with a variety of features, and now users have
started to rely on it to complete their daily tasks. But what happens
if, with repeated use, they start to grow impatient and would like it to
run faster, or if the userbase increases and the app cannot easily cope
with the growing demand? We are suddenly in the realm of performance
optimisation. But what does this entail? In this introductory talk, I
will mention some principles and tools to help you along this journey:
from how you should think about performance improvements before you even
get started, to how you should test, measure or boost performance with
tools such as {shinyloadtest} or {profvis}, or caching and more.
