NewsTrack: A Quantitative Approach For Transforming News To Credit Signals
I will give a short introduction to the Oliver Wyman Data and Analytics team, then discuss a project I am working on which brings together the latest advances in NLP with our credit analytics and modelling experience in order to transform news into a credit worthiness signal.

KnoBAB: Fast Business Process Management with Temporal Reasoning

This presentation will cover two topics: Business Process Management (BPM) and KnoBAB. BPM is the discipline in which people use various methods to discover, model, analyze, measure, improve, optimize, and automate business processes. KnoBAB is a tool supporting some BPM tasks whose development began a year ago and has already had international acclaim (Giacomo will present the framework at the AAAI'23 Spring Symposia in San Francisco). We will show how BPM addresses the challenge of temporal logic inference efficiency and how it can be used in your enterprises. Finally, Giacomo will present some open research topics that can have positive spin-offs in Industry 4.0 domain
