Deploying models into production with vetiver
Myles Mitchell @ Jumping Rivers Ltd
Ever wondered how you would take your machine learning models from development to production? The vetiver framework offers a beginner-friendly and free-to-use interface for versioning, deploying and monitoring your models built in Python and R.
Following on from his NEDS talk in October, Myles will be providing a hands-on workshop which will walk you through the steps of a typical MLOps workflow:
- Preparing your data
- Training a model
- Versioning and deploying your model
- Monitoring your model and detecting model drift
We will be using the Python vetiver package along with the popular scikit-learn toolkit for this demo. However, the equivalent code in R will also be provided and the workshop is intended for anyone with an interest in productionising machine learning models.
The workshop will be taught using a cloud computing environment with all of the dependencies pre-installed. Just remember to bring a laptop with you which can connect to WiFi!
