About us

Newcastle upon Tyne Unitarians welcome all who seek the meaning of life, and who believe that human spirituality is wider than any one tradition, and deeper than any one set of opinions. With a respect for our Christian origins, we seek to explore truths from all sources. Our fellowship gives us strength and encouragement in daily living.

Everyone who is seeking to explore spirituality and ideas from different religious and philosophical traditions is welcome. You do not have to come from any particular religious or spiritual background, and we do not have a set of beliefs you must hold to be a member!

We meet on Sundays at 11am on Zoom and at the Large Spiritual Commons room at Northumbria Student Central. The service may be led by a Unitarian Minister, one of our Worship Leaders, a spiritual leader or philopsher from another tradition, or be an event where everyone brings something!

We join together in listening, contemplative reflection, prayer and meditation, and lively discussion. We always have social time together afterwards with coffee, tea and cake!

You are very welcome to join us.
