Newcastle Witches Get Together: September 2025

Our monthly meet up for witches and wiccans. All are welcome, from any path of Magical Practice and any level of experience. If you feel like bringing a tarot deck or a metaphysical book you want to discuss then please do!

@15:00 on 20/09/25, meeting at City Tavern where we have a private space booked for a quiet drink and discussion. We are to the left of the bar, you’ll know you’ve found us when you pass a statue of the witch queen’s hounds.

This Month’s topic for discussion will be: The Magic of Christianity! As we’ll still have the Sun in virgo let’s get Into something a little bit Academic - with a bit of help from our very special guests who have magical backgrounds beginning in Christianity. Through a combination of personal stories, constructive debate and audience participation we will delve into the minutiae of folk magic, Angelology, orthodoxy vs folk practice and the historical passage of paganism and magic.
NOTE - This moot is (and always has been) built on a search for true magic, and a spirit of open-minded curiosity. We have a zero tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind (including
religious discrimination)

There will be time at the beginning and end for mixing together and sharing, so as usual bring your stories and experiences of your practice from the past month.
