Newcastle Witches Get Together: February 2026

Our monthly meet up for witches and wiccans. All are welcome, from any path of Magical Practice and any level of experience. If you feel like bringing a tarot deck or a metaphysical book you want to discuss then please do!

Meet at City Tavern where we have a private space booked for a quiet drink and discussion. We are to the left of the bar, you’ll know you’ve found us when you pass a statue of the witch queen’s hounds.

This Month’s topic for discussion will be:
We’ll just be leaving Aquarius, the fixed a sign of Winer, so we voted on discussing The Folk Magic of Winter. Share practices you either know of or observe yourself (if they’re local you get bonus points!) since there are different definitions of ‘winter’ shall we class any folk magic pertaining-to or useful-for the times between Samhain night and the Spring Equinox as ‘winter’ folk magic for the purposes of our discussions? There will be time at the beginning and end for mixing together and sharing, so as usual bring your stories and experiences of your practice from the past month.
