WGDPTech Monthly Meet-up - How giving up could be the key to success

The Women and Gender Diverse People in Tech is kicking off the year with a speaker event! In February we are kicking off the year with a talk themed 'How giving up could be the key to success' by the wonderful Sophie Benjamin, UX Content Designer at Canva!

Sophie Benjamin is a UX Content Designer at Canva, who ended up in tech after stints in music, journalism and communications. She’ll be talking about reframing quitting things in an era and industry that glorifies hustle, and how throwing in the towel led to her biggest successes.

Everyone is welcome to this event, regardless of gender- so share it with your friends. Through these speaker events, we aim to share experiences and knowledge, that's how we learn, and that's how we can improve the community for everyone.

We've had a change of location! We'll gather at the NewyTechPeople office at 9 Downie St, Maryville NSW for this event.
