Save the date for our May event featuring Karen Livesey!
Career changes can be scary because they involve jumping into the unknown and redefining one's identity. However, they also realign work-life with one's goals and values. I'm not an expert, but want to explore this topic with you while looking backward and forward in time.
Karen Livesey is currently head of Physics at the University of Newcastle. She has won awards for university teaching and physics research in Australia and the USA. In 2023 she was the Australian Women in Physics Lecturer, plus was named a Superstar of STEM by Science and Technology Australia. In 2020 and 2025 she made large career changes...
