Welcome to our FinTech Open Mic Night series in New York. This month's Topic is Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). ICOs are a true FinTech phenomenon combining crowdfunding with cryptocurrencies to raise capital for companies, a genuine alternative to more conventional fundraising approaches. ICO's are new and there are many challenges to address as they evolve especially regulatory ones, some countries such as China have banned them altogether.

In this session we aim to learn about ICOs and to discuss their current and future uses and potential.
