This is one of our favorite hikes and also the closest one to the metro area. Weather forecast is mostly sunny and low 70s.
This tract of land in the Dawson Forest has six waterfalls, but some are hard to reach, so we usually see 2-3 of them. It's a very scenic place and a fun hike that also offers a good workout. There is at least one wet foot water crossing, so please come prepared for that. One of the waterfalls has a nice pool, but the water is probably still pretty cold.
We'll meet at the Lowes Grocery near Big Canoe and consolidate into vehicles best equipped for the seven mile trip to the TH, the last .8 of which is gravel.
